| Free Agent Program
There are many people who are new to the area, whose former team has folded, or who would like to play a sport but don't know where to go. If you find yourself in this position, Sports Park of New York invites you to sign up as a Free Agent.
SPNY offers this program to place individuals (19+ years of age) on teams for a given season. We are currently accepting Free Agent registrations for the following sports in varying seasons:
Invite your friends, neighbors, co-workers, or family members to join, too! Please print a Free Agent Registration Form, complete, and send it to our corporate address along with your full payment. Feel free to contact us with any questions and/or concerns!
We will do our very best to place you in your desired sport and season. Although SPNY cannot guarantee that all individuals will be matched up with teams, we will make every effort to link players with teams.
If we cannot match a player to an existing team, Free Agent players will be pooled together to make up new teams for various leagues. Our current placement rate is approximately 98% of all those who join the program!
The cost per individual is $50. Free Agents who register for the Summer season may be asked to play in the Fall at no additional cost. Full refunds will be given to ALL free agents that we are unable to place.
