Why do we charge Admissions?

Sports Park of New York is privately owned and operated and, for this reason, it is imperative that we keep our insurance costs low. In a business where bats are swinging and balls are flying, this can be extremely difficult! However, when determining risk, it does make a difference to certain insurance companies if we have an “eligibility requirement" in place. This requirement, combined with the proper signed and submitted Waiver/Release forms, allows SPNY to continue its operations - in spite of the high cost of insurance! Most importantly, keeping insurance costs affordable means that we may continue to offer our teams great rates on their league fees!

Additionally, revenue derived from admissions compensates our friendly, courteous staff and on-site management. SPNY is unique in that it is not a hands-off establishment! We are committed to providing you with all of the amenities and excellent customer service – whether you are registering your team, playing on the ball field, or simply relaxing at our tented pavilion! We want your experience at SPNY to be the very best that it can be!

What is the Alternative?

We have determined a way for you to save money - A Player's Pass!

The SPNY Player's Pass offers you:

• FREE Unlimited Admissions into SPNY for all league games, for all practice, for all SPNY tournaments – either for the entire year (April 15th – October 31st) or for the Summer season only (April 15th – August 31st)! It’s convenient, fast, and easy! You simply don’t have to pay $2 at the gate each time you visit! Present your Player's Pass when you enter the park and 'pass' quickly through to play your game!

• Receive a drink ticket redeemable for $1 toward a drink purchase at SPNY concessions each time you use your Player's Pass. Drink tickets are valid in all seasons! Come as often as you’d like – even when you’re not playing! Practice your game, compete in tournaments, cheer on another team, or just relax and watch TV in our pavilion! The first buck is on us!

• Receive up to 50% off select brand name sporting goods, equipment, and apparel (ie. Wilson, Worth, Mizuno, Spalding, Easton, Olympia, etc.)

• Receive TWO (2) FREE ADMISSION Guest Passes and bring a friend along to watch or play (for NEW guests only!)
